We were able to harvest some mustard seeds from our garden. Of course, verses like Matthew 13:31–32 and Luke 17:6 come to mind. These tiny seeds are a reminder that God can and does do great things both for us and through us—provided we trust in Him.
Thank you as always for your continued prayers and support. Being completely dependent on God for everything from financial provision to health is unnatural from a worldly perspective, since we innately want to be able to rely on things that we can see and touch. But being in the hands of Him who richly provides is so much better than clinging to the uncertainty of riches (1 Timothy 6:17).
Prayer Requests
- As always, that God would continue to reveal His purpose for our lives, and that He use us for His glory
- That God continue to meet our needs so we can continue serving Him
- For God to open doors in my pursuit of Honduran naturalization (in order to have dual citizenship), in spite of the time-consuming and costly setbacks we’ve experienced so far
Ministry Updates
I continue to serve as an occasional guest preacher and am involved in training programs for pastors or those who have received the call to ministry but who are unsure yet of their specific calling. I said programs (plural) because I was recently invited to begin teaching at a local biblical training institute, where I was impressed by the passion and preparation of the students. I am excited about the new opportunity to freely give just as I have freely received (Matthew 10:8). I am still pursuing a master’s degree from a seminary in the States, and have been pouring what I’m learning into what I’m teaching.

Homestead Updates
Home life keeps us busy. Since our last update, we’ve planted beans and done maintenance on our rainwater collection system (which provides all of our drinking water).

We were also able to purchase new tires for our truck, which although costly was non-negotiable given the types of roads we primarily drive on—rocky and bumpy during the dry season and slick during the rainy season. I never thought I could get so excited over tires, but being able to obtain a new set was such a blessing.

Finally, we’ve immensely enjoyed watching our grand-baby grow and spending time with her.
She has an affinity for music, and I’m happy to oblige her.
May God keep you and bless you until next time.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
